Alberta Human Services Provides a short-term employment Forecasting Tool

In June of 2011,  Alberta’s Short-Term Employment Forecasting (STEF) Tool was implemented.
It provides a list of occupations that will be in demand in the short term (1-3 years). It is the first short-term employment forecasting ever done by any government jurisdiction in Canada.

The list of occupations in demand will be of use to employers that do human resource planning. Industry groups and associations can use it to inform their policies and programs for labour force development, education and planning.

Detailed information about STEF and the list of occupations in demand can be found.
